Again I'm sitting in the dining room at my brothers house in North Carolina. It's 8:55pm which means it's only 5:55pm in California. I had talked to Sam and Rachel at about 7:30 and it was still light out there and it was completely dark here. It was an odd feeling. Youthgroup hasn't even started yet! They are having a dressup game night and I'm rather bummed I'm gonna miss it.
So today I actually got out and saw the local North Carolina. We went to the Concord Mills which is a twin of Ontario Mills in California. Even the annoying greeting as you walk through the different enterances letting you know what neighborhood you're in. I bought a bunch of gifts for my neices and nephews to make up for the lack of birthday presents sent to them this year. hehe The stores were pretty much the same. I found one store named Past and Presents that looked rather cool. They had a similar store to Barnes and Nobles named Books-A-Million. I ended up buying
The Hobbit for my fly home and pretty much any of my relaxing time here. I bought
The Girl with a Pearl Earing at the airport in Ontario and finished that in two settings. So I needed more reading material. After the many pages of Harry Potter books these 200+ page books seem like mini reading. hehe I'm still looking forward to Book #6 coming out for Harry Potter. I'm still not sure when it's going to be released. Oh well.
Anyways, right now my mom, Brenda, Rachel (person living with shawn and brenda), and myself are watching
An American President as we change over for Presidential updates. I'm glued to cnn.com for the election updates showing the details of what state voted for who. Looks like I'll have to be up for a while to get a good view of what's going to happen. The link will be below.
So right now I'm pretty relaxed though it was a long day with a bunch of kids. I'm really not sure how Brenda does it. I was exhausted by the time 5pm came around and we were in line to watch
Sharktale.
Well I'm gonna enjoy the rest of my evening. Goodnight.
